Thanks Wally, it is so sad that she is gone, but at least now she is out of pain and finally at rest.

Quote from: bigskygal on April 15, 2024, 10:39:29 AMI got sad news last evening. My friend/neighbor passed away on Saturday. I knew she was sick, she had confided in me she had cancer but asked I keep her secret. She was the friend that drove me to all my dr appointments after my bad fall in Dec. '23, while I was in the back brace. She also took me grocery shopping. She was a good friend and very sweet. Saddest part is she was just in her 50's.
Very sad news. I also lost one of my young cousins also in his 50s. I was at the funeral and it was very sad to see the devastated family.

93 this morning.  We had a high of 74° yesterday and it is supposed to get to 84° today so warming up and we should be in the high 80s for the next few days.  Pretty nice for my liking and if it stays around there I will be happy.
I had my appointment with the new PCP yesterday and she seems quite nice and went over all of my labs and was happy with them so no changes.  I have another appointment with her next month for the Medicare annual health exam which I look at as pretty stupid but required by Medicare.  I guess it is OK if someone does not see a doctor on a regular basis but for me it is just pretty a waste of time.

149 this morning. I just don't know where that came from...

Yesterday's high was 66° turned windy late afternoon and evening. Today's forecast is 63°/37° mostly cloudy with some wind.

Have to do some research about types of paint and means of application for the stencils. I haven't done any stenciling before so a new craft to learn about!

Yeah, I feel the same about the Medicare exam. I have a regular exam with my pcp in early August and a week or so after, the Medicare exam. Pcp used to do them together, but supposedly Medicare now wants a separate exam of their own! Stupid!

145 this morning. I'm leaning to some sort of bug or just straight up pain messing with the number...

Yesterday's high was 52° some sun and wind. Today's forecast is much cooler, 47°/27° possible rain snow mix in the morning and light snow in the afternoon. More snow in the mountains than valleys. This little storm is supposed to move through quickly and weather improve tomorrow. Typical Spring, but I do like the sunny days better!!

90 this morning.  We had a high of 83° yesterday and it is heading to 88° today.  It looks like we will be in the high 80s for the next few days and dry.
I got a call and my new glasses are in so I will be going out to pick them up.  I don't think there will be a big change as there wasn't too much difference but new lenses without any scratches will probably help.

Wow! That's a lot of rain for a country that isn't used to lots of rain! Isn't that the man made island/islands? Given their very low normal rain, I wonder if they built any drainage systems for roads and the airport? The photos look like it was a pretty scary place to be!

Saw a video of a poor kitty being rescued on Weather.com. The animals must be terrified!

146 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 42°. Had about and inch of snow midmorning, but by afternoon the sun came out and it all melted away. Still chilly though. Today's forecast is 49°/26° mostly sunny. Typical Spring snow.

Going out to feed the kitties, 18° outside right now.

92 this morning. We had a high of 90° yesterday and it should be the same today.  A lot different than what you are seeing Barbara and I am happier that I am here.  This is the temps I am comfortable with.
I picked up my new glasses yesterday and like I suspected there is not much difference but I got a new pair for using with my computer and they are better suited for my bigger PC monitor so that is good.  A 32 inch monitor is big and I sit farther away from it.

I don't think they ever planned for this, otherwise that amount of rain is not much from an Indian perspective.

Agree, that amount of rain around here wouldn't be as catastrophic as it appears to be there. Especially in the larger cities with their huge drainage systems.
