Not at this time, not in the budget to do the whole garage. Maybe later for the other side of the garage and ceiling, but now the cat house is the priority. Need to get it done so we can trap any cats that were missed last year before they start reproducing again.

We'll be able to keep all the fixed ones in there as we catch all the cats we can. Last year they stayed in cages for days and days at the clinic and were pretty stressed when they came home.

Started painting today.  These are work in progress, the next post are after the first coat done.

The original plan was to start dark on the bottom and then lighten the color as we went upward. It wasn't looking that good so going with all one color, the lighter one. That is my friend in the second photo! :)

Glad we decided to do all one color, not liking the dark on the bottom. It is really coming together!!

Thanks! It will be fun when it is all done, that is for sure. But yeah, the work is fun, especially when you have a friend to laugh along with as you work! For us old broads, it is hard too, our old bones are aching after a day of work.... But in the end it will be worth it!

The last photo is too dark. True color is between the first photo and third photo. The light was not quite right for photos...

Yes, and extended up with Poultry Fencing which is a green plastic mesh that has very small openings. It is even smaller openings than chicken wire and is much more people friendly for installing. This way there will be some air flow between sides, but cats won't be able to get through it.

Here is the test sample if the stencils I will use. This is from the small set, many different cat poses around 2". The other set has four sheets with cats from 6-1/2" to 8-1/2".  The bigger ones will go around the windows and maybe various places on the walls:
