83 this morning.  We had a high of 85° yesterday and it is supposed to get to 89° today so keeping warm and bright and sunny with no wind. `8)
BIL is home and doing quite well.  He had a long day yesterday and was the next to last operated on so he was done at 11:00 AM and there was a lady after him.  He was recovered from the anesthesia and could have finished but had to wait for the PT instructions from a PT and he wanted to do it with both him and the lady so he had to wait so he didn't get home until 8:00 last night but he is able to get around using the walker and manage pretty well.  It will take a while for him to heal but so far it is going well.

81 this morning.  We had a high of 88° yesterday and it looks like the same today.  I am jumping in a bit early for me today as I have an appointment with my cardiologist this morning.
BIL is doing quite well and has not been bothered with any pain.  He was given a prescription for some pain pills but hasn't needed to take any.  He is spending most of his time in bed then getting up every 2 hours to walk around a bit using the walker.  That is going well and he is able to get around all of the house.

116 this morning.

Lol Wally we are both posting at the same time!

Yesterday's high was 48° with snow flurries several times. Today is supposed to be 48°/30° with clouds/showers and maybe thunderstorms occasionally. Kind of good we aren't trying to trap cats in this weather!

Glad BIL is doing so well. It still boggles my mind how it all is done these days!

107 this morning.  We had a high of 86° yesterday and it is supposed to be the same today.  Sunny skies and no wind so pretty nice.

Yeah, I am glad that my BIL is doing so well.  He is getting around well using the walker and is able to manage pretty well.  According to the doctor he should be able to walk on his own in about another week.

126 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 50° with some wind that made it feel cooler. Today's forecast is 55°/30° partly cloudy, with a small chance of rain or snow showers, very small.

Busy day today, Dentist, appt with my Broker and some errands up in town.

We are set to begin trapping this Sunday. Hoping the weather holds. Lots of things to get setup first, like food dishes, water bowls, and litter boxes among others. Still lots of details to finish up!

90 this morning.  We had a high of 87° yesterday and it should be the same today.  There is supposed to be a front passing through on the weekend so cooler and windy but no rain here.
Off to my PCP for the Annual Wellness exam for Medicare in a bit.  I don't know if Medicare requires it each year but the clinic pushes hard to have it done so oh well.

124 this morning.

54° yesterday, cloudy and chilly. Today's forecast is 59°/33° partly cloudy but right now the sun is shining beautifully!

That is a good point Wally. Does Medicare really require a yearly exam or say they will cover one yearly in hopes that people take advantage of that and keep up with their health? It may be that the drs are pushing it because they get more seniors to actually have a yearly exam!

127 this morning.

Yesterday was 55°breezy making it feel cooler. Today is supposed to be a very nice day at 67°/43°. Then the rain returns tomorrow.

We got the door in yesterday still needs some tweaks. I need to set up the litter boxes, food and water stations and anything else we have forgotten. My friend is going to go get more traps today as we only have 8 at this point. If we catch 8 that need fixing we will be in a pickle with the rest of them.

Chewy order arrives today so there is going to be 3 huge boxes to unload too.  Also Amazon order comes today with a kibble feeder for the cats that will help keep them fed.

Going to go out and take a couple pix now to show how it looks before cats. I'll post them in Chit Chat.

84 this morning.  We had a high of 87° again yesterday but there is a front going through that will bring lower temps and of course wind starting this afternoon and tomorrow then warming back up Monday.  No rain in sight here, just wind.
The wellness exam is really nothing much but it does have requirements that Medicare stipulates and it may not be required by Medicare but it has to follow their guidelines.  You have to answer a list of questions that concern how you are doing as you get older so I guess that is what it is about.  It was pretty non eventful and over for another year.

Exactly, and that is why I don't see why it can't be done along with the yearly regular exam. It always had been, but now it takes 2 different appointments. Sigh... I still need to fill out my forms...

128 this morning.

The high. yesterday was 62° some clouds but the rains passed us by here. Today's forecast is 67°/43° cloudy with chance of drizzle.

Today is the day and I am nervous about the outcome. I hope we catch a lot and get it over with in a couple of days!!

104 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 79° and it is supposed to be even cooler today and it did get windy yesterday with winds of 25-35 MPH and gusts to 40 MPH and the same today then warming back up tomorrow and back into the 80s.
I slept in this morning and didn't wake up until 6:30 which is unusual, usually up around 4:30 to 5:00 so I must have needed it.

Barbara I think that the wellness exam and your regular annual exam can be combined but the doctors can get paid for both so they want to separate the two.  My previous PCP did make one of my follow up appointments the wellness exam so I know it can be done but I think it is a money thing for the provider.
Good luck on the catching.
