I may be posting late tomorrow as we are starting at 6:30AM to set traps so it is closer to kitties' regular feeding time. Then I have to leave by 9:45 to get to Gastro appointment. My friend and another gal from the TNR will pick up my slack. I might have time to post but doubt it...

7,500 steps yesterday. Nice even number.

Crazy day yesterday and today looks like more of the same plus a dr appt in the mix.

Woke up really early today and cats were already milling around the kitchen slider. I went out and opened the traps and came back in to check the side porch. Set that trap and went to check kitchen porch traps and already had a cat in one! It was a clipped one so went into garage house. Then checked the side porch and one in there too. This one was unclipped so it is going off to get fixed. 2 cats before 7AM!! Hope the weather holds some today so we can get as many as possible!

Well only 3311 steps but still doing as much as I can without using the walker and I carry my cane but can walk without using it for support but just to have it handy if I need it.  I am using muscles that I have not been using with the walker so I am kind of sore but doing pretty good.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

3615 steps yesterday.  Walking around the hospital kind of added to my total but did kind of wear me out.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

8,167 steps yesterday.

Cat trapping takes soooo many steps!! Total for yesterday was 16 with only 2 intact. The wind picked up and was really strong all afternoon, didn't help with the trapping at all. By nightfall it stopped and I caught the last 4 for the day in the evening. I am totally exhausted.

Up early again this morning to refresh all the traps and set up empty ones, then fed the kitties in the garage. They were very calm with just me in there and scarfed their wet food.
Already have 3 for today! and I haven't even eaten my breakfast yet!

Hopefully the end is close so far we have caught a total of 29 cats! Can't be too many left...

ETA: Just after I posted another trap went off. That make 4 already today! Total now as of 8:48 AM is 30 cats!

5 or 6 in the boxes sometimes 2 to a box! The others in the various coolers and some just in the dark space below the first level of coolers.

Total cats for yesterday was 11 with one needing fixing.

This morning was the first time, since the kitties adopted me, that there was not a single cat at the door waiting for breakfast. :(  Sad, but it is a sign we are close to having them all.

This pace is really wearing me out, I ache all over and am exhausted all the time.  I really hope we get them all this time and no new ferals decide to make this their home. I don't think I can do this again!

3617 steps yesterday.  My dentist appointment took up a fair amount of the time but getting along better with just using my cane.

Immigration problem LOL!! Good one! Alas, you may be right though I hope not. I'm really hoping that feeding them in their new 'house" will keep a lot of strays away because the food won't be out in the open for all to find. The other thing is that with no females in heat giving off their scent, males won't be attracted here.

Only caught one cat today and it was already fixed. I saw 3 others and 2 of them have been fixed so it is possible the 3rd is too. If so we did it! I'll give it another day though to be sure and I'm leaving all the traps open tonight just in case.

I really can't do this again, so we had better get them all!

6,779 steps yesterday.

Really worn out. Only one cat yesterday and it was clipped. I think we are going to be done today. Frankly I don't think I have another day in me.
