80 again this morning. Our high yesterday was a cooler 84° and it is supposed to be even cooler at 72° today as a front passes through. There was a prediction of some rain showers here this morning but nothing is going to happen and it is sunny out.

Well, I did get my laundry done and "working" on the car was just checking and topping off fluids but it was something I wanted to do. Today is probably going to be not doing a lot.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

122 this morning.

49° was the high yesterday, it was a gray and cloudy day. Today's forecast is 54°/34° and cloudy.

Yesterday the irrigation ditch was fully opened behind my house, it had just been partially open before, May 4 seems to be the full flow day. They never did any repair on my side of the ditch as promised last summer and now the water is just about 8' from the corner of my office. They cut away a lot of soil on the other side and thought that would solve the problem. How I kind of wondered, but it didn't! Stopped the ditch runner and he said he couldn't get any rock to fix it last fall and early this spring (really??) but said they would this Autumn. In the mean time he said it was a good thing there were the tree suckers coming up from the trees I cut down as that was saving me for the time being.  Not a satisfying conversation!

So now I'm going to worry all Summer. Flowing water 8' from my house, is scary close to my house!

Garbage to the road and a laundry is about all I have planned for today. Tomorrow is the dentist appointment. Today is the Probate hearing, hopefully my son will be appointed Executor and we can get ready to sell the house without any delays.

87 this morning. Our high yesterday was 84° and it is supposed to be about the same today. We got just over 1/4 inch of rain last night and that was a surprise and it has been raining lightly for about an hour so far this morning but it should be over soon. Nothing was in the prediction so not expected but nice. It may not seem like much to you guys but it is significant for here.

Yeah having the water running that close would be a worry. I guess there isn't much you can do but hope there will not be too much erosion and that they will fix the problem.

I am planning to go out and get my oil changed in my car probably today or tomorrow and it will be the first time I have driven my car since the ER visit but I am feeling good and don't see any problem.

121 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 54° and it was cloudy almost all day. Today on the other hand the forecast is 68°/40° and sunny!

Today is dentist appt to get a reline done on lower partial. If it is as successful as the upper, I don't think I'll be proceeding with the implant option!

Results from Probate hearing yesterday are that my son was appointed Executor of my brother's estate. Thank goodness, now we can begin the process of getting the house ready to sell. My niece appeared in person, my son via computer, I guess niece maybe thought that would give her some weight. The judge acknowledged she lived with my brother but the law states that my son had the legal standing above that, to be the Executor, therefore her decision. Now the trust has to be broken and my name put on the deed. Finally things begin to move.

91 this morning. Our high yesterday was 80°. We got another 1/8 inch of rain in the morning and it was out of here around 9:30 AM then the sun came out and it warmed up. I did get out with my car and got the oil changed and had no issues so doing well and I feel like I am back to a more normal situation. I finally got the shipping labels for the two computer processors I had so I need to drop those off at the post office today so going out again today.

Glad you are doing well with the partial and I would think that the lower would be as good as the upper so yeah, implants would not be worth the cost.
Glad there is good news on the inheritance and hope it is going to work out for all.

127 this morning.

64° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 77°/46°. Another stretch of nice weather, then Monday the rainy weather returns for a few days.

I got a different quote yesterday at the denture place for lower implants. It is a different procedure, but for 4 teeth as opposed to 2. It is much cheaper than the one from the oral surgeon. I want to compare them side by side today. Not sure at this point that the reline on the lower partial is as successful as the upper plate wasb but it takes a bit to settle the tech said.
 
Nothing else planned for today.  I'd like to pull out my summer clothes and launder them, and put away deep Winter clothes for the season. So play clothes shuffle....

I did get my car smogged yesterday so that is done and out of the way.
Off soon for an appointment with my cardiologist so I am interested on what he has to say about my ER visit with heart failure.

106 this morning.

72° was the high yesterday nice and sunny. Today's forecast is 74°/40° mostly sunny. It is a bit cloudier this morning and the day will be a bit cooler. I did some yard work yesterday and may do more today. I just want to see how my knees and back are feeling before I take on more work outside.

I didn't get to the laundry yesterday so that is about all that I have planned for today, but I'm sure things will come up!

107 this morning. Our high yesterday was 85° and it is warming up and should be 93° today and maybe 100° by Saturday. That should be the hottest but it will be in the 90s or high 80s after that.

My appointment with my cardiologist went OK and when I asked him what would cause congestive heart failure he said that was a good question. It is not one thing but may be due to several things like A-fib, heart valve problems and some other things. Because of that he is going to have me take a couple of tests, an echo cardiogram and a Holter monitor and then he may have a better idea if there needs to be any change in my routine or prescriptions but since I am really feeling like I have recovered I am not too worried about how I am doing right now.

Hmmmm, laundry, maybe that will be something for me to look at today.

That's good to hear. And with the further testing, you'll know if there is anything lurking about that can be dealt with right away.
